Last Chance to See: Cambridge Shakespeare Festival

Tonight is your last chance to catch The Merchant of Venice and The Taming of the Shrew – the final shows of the Cambridge Shakespeare Festival, which sees Shakespeare’s plays performed in outdoor settings at Cambridge Colleges for six weeks every summer.

The Merchant of Venice, described by The Stage as “an enthralling and passionate performance” will play at 7.30pm in Robinson College Gardens. The Taming of the Shrew, also praised as “highly original” by Cambridge News, will be performed at the same time in Homerton College Gardens.
