Don’t miss: rising stars Famy play intimate gig in Cambridge this weekend

Anthemic, atmospheric and assured: Famy’s debut album sees the band come into their own – and they’re bringing their stadium-scale folk-rock to Cambridge this Sunday.

Produced by the legendary BBC sound engineer Miti Adhikari, whose previous collaborations include Radiohead, Nirvana and Pearl Jam, Famy’s We Fam Econo album was recorded in a chapel to create acoustic depth and reverb.

The result is rich, lyrical and passionate; a grandiose sound that the band may struggle to recreate in the Portland Arms, where they will play a hotly anticipated gig tomorrow night. That said, the boys from West London are undoubtedly ones to watch – don’t miss this opportunity to catch such an intimate performance while you still can!

Green Minds presents Famy + Winter will play at 8pm, Sunday 28th September at the Portland Arms, 129 Chesterton Road, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire CB4 3BA. Tickets £6 advance, available here.
