The mercury-nominated soul group Jungle were due to play at the Cambridge Junction last night, but left fans furious when they failed to show up.
After the support act, D.D. Dumbo, finished playing just after 10pm, the audience were told that the main act had been postponed due to mysterious “technical difficulties.” However, the band were not present to explain the issue themselves, leaving many fans questioning whether they were simply a no-show.
Jungle later apologised to fans via Facebook but declined to offer an explanation. The gig has been rescheduled for Thursday 13th November and tickets purchased for last night will be valid on the new date. Fans that are unable to make the 13th will be given a full refund, said the band.
